Every Tuesday, I share a list of Gratitudes, Celebrations and Desires. As a wedding officiant, I am surrounded by Celebration. Yes, we certainly recognize big milestones with festivity, but how about the little ones? Finishing a task you’ve put off? Hitting a sales goal? Receiving some good news! Nothing says ‘Celebration’ better than a good cocktail! And winter is perfect for a little apple & ginger! The alcohol is optional, if you don’t drink or are watching your consumption.
I found this recipe on My Heart Beets. Give Ashley a little social media love if you do indeed make it and love it! @ash_myheartbeets The recipe serves 8-10 people, so feel free to invite some friends and family to celebrate with you!
And check out my most recent Gratituesday post. I add a new one every Tuesday, and welcome you to add your own Gratitudes, Celebrations and Desires!
CHILLED APPLE CIDER PUNCH
½ gallon (8 cups) apple cider
½ cup orange juice
2 (12 ounce) bottles ginger beer
1 apple, sliced
1 orange, sliced
Add the apple cider and orange juice to a pitcher or punch bowl.
Add the ginger beer, sliced apple and sliced orange to the pitcher right before serving.
Serve over ice.
Add rum to taste, if using.
You can switch the orange juice out for another type of juice if you prefer like pomegranate juice or cranberry juice for example.
