I am at the home renovation stage where I need to make lots of decisions. Well, get multiple estimates and then make decisions. There are lots of options out there and it can be overwhelming. I try to keep this in mind as engaged couples reach out to me. There are plenty of potential officiants and ways to prepare for marriage. So, I try to make the process easy. Clearly answer the questions of the couple, and anticipate any new questions that may come up.
So, it’s super frustrating when the vendors I’m reaching out to for my renovation either don’t give me full information, take forever to respond to an email or phone call or don’t answer my questions.
I’ve been leading a lot of meditations lately about being present, and slowing down in order to make decisions that serve us. Perhaps I sense the need in my students, or perhaps I am guiding a mediation I need! Either way, it works. So I continue to breathe, gather information and make the best decision.
In the meantime, here are my Weekly Lists!
