I met Tori Cohen a few years ago in a women's networking group. She is so energetic and she SINGS! I tend to highlight folks from the wedding world, however, I thought it time to share those I recommend as part of my premarital counseling practice. It's super clear from the way Tori speaks about her work, that she loves what she does. Many of us hate to organize, so it's best to have someone in your corner that embraces the challenge. Without further ado, here's TORI THE ORGANIZER!

What was the path that led you to become an organizer?

I was born an organizer. I was the kid who enjoyed clean up time as much or more than playing and I grew up in a house that was always clean and organized. There was an opportunity a few years ago to work with other organizers as their assistant. During that experience, I had the realization that this was a business I could have. I've honestly never looked back, this is exactly what I want to be doing.

What excites you about working with couples?

As a married person, I know what it was like to move in with my husband and have all those little and big arguments. I like to take that experience and help others avoid the same traps. Living together takes compromise and I love being the objective third party who helps to create that compromise.

What do you look for in a client?

I like to work with nice people who are motivated, that's really all I ask for. I will do the heavy lifting both literally and figuratively, however I need my clients to have a positive attitude and a willingness to change.

What is the greatest compliment you’ve ever received?

My husband once told me I was "endlessly amusing." I've had some really wonderful testimonials from clients who have called me a godsend, which felt pretty good. I work hard at what I do, and it's nice to be recognized.

What do you desire for your business?

I want to continue working with the amazing clients I have, and one day I'd like to have my own TV show - Torganize with Tori!

What are you grateful for?

The ability to do what I want, and to be my own boss. Also, the wonderful clients I've had the chance to work with and the stories they've shared with me.

Any recent cause for celebration?

My sister is getting married in the next few weeks, which means I not only get to celebrate her, but I get to help her fix up and organize her fiancé's house!
