I offer premarital counseling in NYC, but I also work with couples virtually anywhere in the world! For my couples in the New York area, I am taking IN-PERSON appointments in Central Harlem and FiDi!

Premarital Counseling is a powerful way to strengthen your relationship and create expectations for your marriage. The future is full of unknowns and our relationships require more than love and good intentions. Unlike couples therapy, which usually tackles a problem in the relationship, premarital counseling aims to prevent potential challenges down the line.
My Approach
Early in my practice, I knew that I needed to be a strong advocate for my couples and their relationships. In 2010, I researched existing premarital counseling programs, and most were based in religion. Since that didn’t really resonate with me, I decided to create my own program. Two years later, I was ready to share the program. And hundreds of couples have gone through it with me ever since.
The premarital counseling program is secular in nature and focuses on what I call The Big Issues – the 9 main causes of divorce in America. If that scares you, we can look at it this way… Let’s talk through the topics that tend to trip couples up and make sure they are as strong as they can be in YOUR relationship. We will take the necessary time to explore the issues that affect your relationship most.
Beginning with Intention.
While I do not require premarital counseling for the couples I officiate, I HIGHLY encourage it. Some couples approach me to work on current challenges. However, most just want a clean bill of health and new techniques for the toolbox. This will keep the relationship strong as you grow and mature as individuals.
Individual 60-minute sessions are $225, with discounted packages for five and seven sessions.
