Whether it’s an issue of budget, a desire for intimacy, or simply not wanting to fuss over all the grand details, not every couple wants a huge wedding celebration. Welcome to the Micro-wedding! Of course, here in New York, gatherings are currently limited to 50 people, so couples are forced to go small. But once the world reopens after COVID-19, micro (or mini) weddings will continue to be popular. The micro wedding offers a middle ground that allows couples to have their tiny cake, and to eat it, too! Below are some lovely options for venues offering smaller weddings in the Hudson Valley. Arrow Park
Surrounded by acres of protected forests, native foliage and wildlife, Arrow Park is a private estate in Monroe (Orange County). Established in the 1940s by a small group of immigrant families as an oasis from the busy and congested city life, the property includes a historic mansion, gardens, beach area, Arrow Lake and a banquet hall. Blue Hill at Stone Barns

Saint Hubert’s Lodge
