Gratituesday 1.21.25 - From the Frozen Tundra!
Greetings from the frozen tundra! I mean, I was excited about wearing my winter boots, but I’m cold in my own apartment! And I’m wearing 2 sweaters! I know others may have it worse, so I certainly don’t complain. It could be very easy to hibernate inside - and there have been many days where I’ve done that. But it’s nice to get out into the world. I went to volunteer at Refettorio Harlem this morning for the first time in a while. I received a nice welcome not only from the team that works there, but also those taking advantage of the pantry. Such kindness certainly makes leaving my home, and giving back worthwhile. So how ‘bout a little reflection? Welcome to my bi-weekly lists. Care to join me in a little gratitude? Awesome, I’m happy to start. Let’s go!
