Desire Wednesday 2.5.25 - Habit Tracking
In book club we are re-reading Atomic Habits by James Clear. The first time we read it, I listened to the audiobook. However, I reading the ebook this time around. Since I am a visual learner, it’s sticking with me more.
We got to the 4th Law - Make it Satisfying this week. Clear brought up the idea of Habit Tracking. The concept of keeping track of a given habit so you don’t “break the chain.” I was an avid Duolingo user and had a streak of over 3 years. However, I didn’t learn Spanish, so I stopped. So my goal this week is to prioritize my habits, and then create some type of tracker for them. Maybe it’s a paper calendar or maybe it’s an app. I have a feeling it will come up in book club today. I am proud to say that I did complete the reading for the week, and I did bring out my ukulele today and practiced the C, A, F & G7 chords. Baby steps! Of course this reflection allowed me to look at my desires, gratitudes and celebrations! Care to join me? Wonderful! The comment section is always open.
