Gratituesday 5.28.24 - Daily Rituals

I am currently reading The Power of Ritual by Casper ter Kuile. The days go by so fast, that it’s important to mark the milestones. I wrote this blog post a few months ago where I encourage my couples to do this as they approach their wedding, but honestly I need to do it, too. Ter Kuile really dives in with research and suggestion. There are tons of ways to embrace the sacred and make the moments special.

But I love this qualification of a ritual:

  • Intention: Recognizing what are we inviting into this moment

  • Attention: Being present in this moment

  • Repetition: Making space to come back to this time and time again

As usual, this reflection gives time to create my weekly lists. Care to join me in creating your own? The comment section is always open!
