Gratituesday 9.24.24 - Grounding

Last week I lead a grounding mediation at a wedding industry event. Then over the weekend, one of my wedding couples and their siblings wanted to go through a little grounding ritual before the ceremony. I’m curious to know what’s going on to have people request this now. It may be the change of season or something else in the air.

When I think about grounding, my brain immediately goes to the ROOT chakra. The root chakra is located at the base of the spine, but sometimes I like to take my shoes off and connect my feet with the Earth. That connection may bring stability, safety and security. Of course on the other end of the spectrum is the CROWN chakra. That’s our center of wisdom, inspiration and spirituality. So it’s a little out there. And if we are feeling overwhelmed, or consumed with our thoughts, sometimes bringing the energy into your root or your feet, is just the remedy. It encourages us to be present.

Of course, the idea of presence is a great way to add a little reflection into our lives. So here are my weekly lists. It’s always good to keep the positivity flowing. Care to join me? Awesome! I’m happy to go first. The comment section is always open to add your own. Let’s go!
